I'll be away from Paris for the summer and am looking for someone to take over my room from the end of May to the end of August. It's one room, about 18m�, a single size bed, a big table to eat and study, and I can make room on my shelves for books and clothes. Ideal for a student!

The apartment has WiFi, a small but functional kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet, there is a cheap laundromat just across the street and supermarkets are closeby too. It's located near the metro Marcadet-Poissonniers (lines 4 and 12, very convenient to get around Paris).

FYI my roommate will be there for a couple of weeks, then a very nice couple is moving into his room until the end of July (they speak French, German, English and Armenian).

This is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The master bedroom has a queen size bed for 2 adults and has an ' en suite' bathroom of rose colored marble with both bath tub and a separate large shower. The WC is just 5 feet outside the bedroom in the hall. There is a window in the bedroom out to a small service area (back of building) with several large closets and features an ink painting from North Korea.

The second bedroom is located just off the living room area and is partitioned by 'Japanese style' sliding 'Shoji' doors, which open completely during day to make it a nice sitting area as well. There is a very comfortable European style sofa-pullout sleeper which measures 130 cm (51 inches) wide which is a little smaller than a standard double size bed (US = 54 inches wide). The full bathroom is also 'en suite' and has both a tub and shower combo (shower head affixed to wall), sink and WC.

The apartment is furnished with some upscale furniture, Roche Bobois sofas, Mies van de Rohe chairs and coffee table, original paintings, Travertine floors, and Oriental carpets. The open living room has a sofa and bench with cushions, which can also can be slept on, but these are only recommended for children or young adults as the sofa (not a pull-out, but rather just a normal couch) measures 60 cm (24 inches) wide by 185 cm (73 inches) long. A built-in bench has 2 cushions on it and is the same width as sofa but a little longer at 210 cm (82 inches) in length. A set of sheets will be provided for these if you request beforehand (must be made-up by guests directly).

The lovely dining room sits next to the large oversized windows that view out to the courtyard and provide a charming place to dine or just to sit and relax with a beverage. The kitchen is quite complete, with lots of counter space as well, see the list of amenities below. This is a grand old building, with huge wooden entry doors at street level and an inside staircase that has been declared a historical monument. On the first floor, (up one floor), there is an elevator as well. the apartment is on the backside, which means a very quiet atmosphere and stay for you.

Kitchen is a conventional French kitchen with older appliances and fully-equipped for gourmet cooking, and place settings for eight or more persons.

This is a large comfortable apartment where most guests will enjoy their stay and gets good reviews. But there are what some might a few worn areas which the photos may not show. Most notably the bathrooms and kitchen have older cabinets which are worn and while clean make look "tired" - some cracking or peeling of cabinet wood is apparent. The decorative marble and especially wall coverings in large bathroom are worn and sometimes do not stay in place. The white carpet in the large bedroom has some stains which can not be removed but it will be vacuumed well. Throughout the light colored marble floor is a stone and has many small natural openings which are black and can look dirty even though it has been cleaned. The large window shades are worn and do not function well, sometimes not going up or down. The large windows can only be cleaned by the building maintenance company and not our Team. The walls throughout are cleaned but do have some stains. There is some small areas of chipped or peeling paint.

This is a great location, just a few steps from the famed rue Montorgueil one of Paris' oldest true Market Streets that remains today form the old large central wholesale Marketplace (created in 1183 and torn down in 1971). This is a very lively pedestrian street full of cafes, shops, markets with Farmers' fresh produce, flowers, plus meat and cheeses shops. Of course some of the best bakeries are just around the corner from this holiday rental as well. You are sure to marvel everyday at the Saint Eustache Church which is just nearby, (built between 1532 and 1632) with its soaring towers and massive size. This is a very central location, with 3 metros stops close by and within easy walking distance to Rue de Rivoli and the Louvre.

The property owner ensured to provide a quiet and relaxing stay by installing new double-paned special windows, (although the apartment itself is also on a pedestrian small street as well).

The Paris holiday rental flat is 37 m2 meters, (380 sq. ft.) and has one bedroom with a double size bed, plus a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also a fold-out Futon which we recommend for a young adult, or anyone who is comfortable to sleep on the floor with this futon. (Total of 5 people). There is a bathroom with shower, sink and WC inside, which is very modern.

The kitchenette corner offers lots of cupboard and counter space and features; a 4 burner electric stovetop, a microwave, an under the counter frig and plenty of dishes cutlery for all.

There is a dining table for 4 with bar-type stools. And a couple of brand new (as of Oct 2010) easy chairs to relax in after a day of seeing Paris.

The vacation rental apartment is bright and feels big, with the large windows facing out to the pedestrian street. It is on the first floor (no elevator). It features original artwork done by the owner, with several paintings on the walls. Bring your laptop as there is Wi-Fi connection and even a Fax for your use ! This Parisian holiday rental property is 25 m2 (approximately 270 sq. ft.) and has both a double size bed as well as a sofa that pulls out to sleep 2 (same as double bed size). There is also a small table that folds out to accommodate 4 people. This apartment like the other features an "exposed natural rock wall" which provides a very charming and warm feeling. There are 2 large windows in the living room, with soundproofing double glass, ( although the street is usually calm). Also the third floor elevation (stairs only) ensures good light and away from any noise below.

The kitchen is separate which is very comfortable (closed off by a door) and also has a large window. There is a large amount of kitchen-counter space compared to most studios, and it includes a refrigerator, double stove top, microwave, coffeemaker large sink and other amenities (see below for details).

This a great and central area, with transportation close by and many sights easily reachable by foot. This is the heart of the Right Bank, filled with so much energy and great people watching hotspots!
